After a few days of playing with OpenOCD I've managed to try
this out. Changing
the 5 to a 1 does indeed make the win32 version of dfu-util
work as expected.
Well, after adding an O_BINARY to the open() call, it worked
as expected.

I've added O_BINARY in svn rev. 2719, can you please verify
it works?

I'll put the u-boot num_interfaces change on my todo list,
once I've
finished syncing with u-boot mainline.
