Programming SDK without X Server?

Hi everyone

[I don't know, if I'm on the right list, but I will give it
a try.]

Something I don't understand is, if I need a x server or
not. I searched the archives from several sub projects: gls,
udk and xml, but I can't find a answer that fit to 100%.

Somewhere I read I can install a virtual x server, instead a
complete x server. But I don't want to do that either. I
think the only possiblity is to use a x server or a virtual
x server. But use absolutly nothing about "x" is
not possible. Is that correct?

Thank you for your answers.

regards
Matthias

this was discussed some months ago. Due to that time you are
right -
there is no way to avoid a virtual xserver or a complete
xserver.

Greetings, Tobias
