"x" is not possible. Is that correct?

yes, that is correct but (probably some of you will throw
some evil eyes
in direction of Sun) you can buy a StarOffice server edition
where no
xserver is necessary. The server edition provides some more
features
necessary for a stable usage in a server scenario
(maintenance of
several office processes, load balancer, soap interface,
...). It's a
modular concept and can be adapted to different needs.
Typical use cases
are document conversion, creation, printing, ....
You can contact me directly and i will forward you to the
right contact
inside Sun.
Sorry for this kind of ad but even buying
StarOffice/StarOffice Server
is more or less a direct support/sponsoring of OpenOffice
