Storing Annotations with a Writer Document?

I'd like to store annotations (e.g. "please check the
spelling of the 
customer's name") with an OO writer document.  What
functionality is there 
for this purpose, and is it reliable?

I'm writing code in OO Basic.

Thanks for the link.  That solution works fine.  However, I
guess I'll use the 
document's desciption field nevertheless: we only need one
comment per 
document and also we plan to have a custom user interface
for modifying that 
comment.
