Hi list-members,

If this is not the proper list for audio questions, please
accept my
apologies and let me know where I should post. I posted to
the general
dev list and got no answer. My problem is that I'm unable to
get audio
to work in my Win XP build of 2.0.3. When I double-click a
sound in the
gallery, the Media Player opens, and displays a question
mark, but I
don't hear anything. When I then click the "Play"
button, nothing
happens. If I try to open an mp3 file, I get an error
message that the
file type is not supported. I configured using the default
settings,
then later tried to rebuilt with ENABLE_PASF set to
"YES". I built both
with and without directx enabled, but it doesn't work either
way. How do
I go about figuring out what's wrong in my environment?

Thanks,
Alan

Hi list-members,

Whatever the problem was, it was straightened out when I
built 2.0.4.
Audio is now working fine.
