Yes, sure. In addition to the quick overview a more detailed
and 
eye-catching marketing page would be great. One of the todos
is a 
marketing page anyhow. Help is very appreciated here.

Well it should be in english . But
yes, that looks good: a heading 
with short description, a nice picture and a detailed
description - 
that's good.
The detailed 'what's new' list could be part of the OOo Wiki
maybe, thus 
more people would be able to contribute to it.
