scottjsmith: Please calm down! As far as I can see nobody
flamed you in the
OOo forum.
You have submitted an issue because you have a problem.
That's it so far. I
can't reproduce on my Vista machine. I have no idea what
might cause your
problem and where to look at. I have asked the Sun
developers and no one has an
idea. I've mailed to the dev list of OOo and no developer
has answered. So we
don't have a solution.
To your information: Confirming an issue means to fix it. In
this case nobody
knows how to do this because nobody knows what is broken. So
it doesn't help to
confirm an issue 'by votes'. That's what I've meant when I
wrote ""*** Issue
82446 has been confirmed by votes. ***" is rubbish in
this case.". Not your Issue!
If you go to the garage and tell the mechanic your car is at
home and won't
start and so it must be defect and someone who comes along
and confirms that
your car is defect because he heard you saying that your car
won't start doesn't
help the mechanic.
Just a guess: Do you have full write and read access to
'C:Users<USERNAME>AppDataRoaming'? Also a guess:
Have you removed the files
in 'C:Usersof93791AppDataLocalVirtualStoreProgram
Files' before a new
installation?
