New package formats "archive" and "installed"

Hi Ingo

This sounds really useful, except I'm not sure what you mean
by installed...
Does this mean that its un unpackged version of the program
files as it
would be when installed? If so, that makes me very happy, as
it will
make testing the installed result much easier
