Hi,
binary files (like XLS) are faster in loading because you do
not have to
interpret them
ODS files are basically zipped Textfiles and have to be
parsed on loading. If an
ods file contains lot of graphics the parsing takes even
longer.
Why questions are better asked on the dev sc...
mailinglist.
So this isn't a defect and I closed it as invalid.
