Opening HTML file crashes

Dear rainerbielefeld,

I've written "Calc" intentionally. I'm not
speaking about simply Open "*.*" or
generic HTML document. Sorry if I haven't been clear enough
but I though it
would be obvious to try the spreadsheet-specific "HTML
Document (OpenOffice.org
Calc)" filter instead if I mention a spreadsheet
problem.

To reproduce the problem, try the following steps:
0. Close all running OOo windows.
1. Open an empty OOo. (NOT OOo Calc, or Writer!) You should
see no document,
only the gray window workspace background.
2. File / Open. Set the File Type to "HTML Document
(OpenOffice.org Calc) *.html"
3. Select the attached HTML file and press OK.

Regarding your other question "it works if yo try from
any other OOo module like
WRITER or DRAW?", please see my original post:
"OpenOffice Writer opens this
same file without any problems." I don't have HTML
filter for OOo Impress, and I
don't have Draw installed so I could not try these.

In the Tools/Settings/Load&Save/HTML compatibility page
I have the following
settings:
Font sizes: 7, 10, 12, 14, 18, 24, 36.
Import: Both check boxes are clear.
Export: Netscape Navigator, "Display warnings"
and "Copy local pictures to
internet" checked, Character set: Eastern European
(Windows-1250/WinLatin2).

The Writer/Web settings are the following:
(Sorry for the ASCII-art but I don't think you would
understand the Hungarian
texts.)
