Please see attached file - Calc shows just the header and
not the data,
whereas competing spreadsheet happily opens the file.
DBU.exe also shows all
the data in attached .dbf.
Supposedly file has slightly malformed header - it does not
end with 0 (as it
should). I would suggest modifying our dbf import filter to
take header lenght
into account in cases like this.

Further diagnosis shows that field "number of
records" (4 bytes at offset 04)
is blank, so formally the file has zero records in it. I
would strongly
suggest to just ignore this field when it is zero and import
everything.

please have a look at this one. Eike told me that this seems
to be a base
problem not Calc itself.
