Hello Everyone,

I am making an Excel like application and need a good
complete math
library which can give me all the functions. I could also
make use of
the OOoCalc's Interpreter functions.

Can anyone please send me the OOoCalc source code and also
the
library. Please if possible send me the exact link or just
zip and
send it as I am not acquainted with Unix/Linux commands.

Regards

This makes me curious. Do you have an URL of this
"Excel-like
application" you are developing, or is this a school
project of some
sort?

This also makes me genuinely curious. You've managed to
find this
mailing list to ask this question but failed to find the
source download
page?

Please tell us: was there any confusing element in our
website design
that made it so hard for you to locate the download page?
We need to
know that so that we can perhaps improve our design to make
it easier
for the visitors to find the download page.

I appreciate your input.

Kohei

P.S. The download page should be easily discoverable from
the main
page... Look for the Download button on the top blue bar,
and look for
the Source and Solver link under Development.

Hello,
Thank you very much for replying. Actually I am a graduate
student and
trying to develop this application for my project. I am
trying to make
it as complex as possible.

The matter in the website was arranged very systematically,
but I was
not able to find the download button. It would really be
great if you
could send me the link and also give me some tips as you are
very
experienced in the same application.

I am also not that acquainted with unix/linux, so if
possible can I
see the source code on the Windows platform.

I really appreciate you spending time on this.

Regards

I think you should make it as simple as possible instead,
without using
code from other applications to make it look smarter.

I wouldn't know how to spell "Download"
differently from the second blue
menu bar button on http://www.openoffice.org/
 so that people actually
would identify it saying "download".

I also don't find it very polite you sent a mail to me
personally on
Friday afternoon that I answered yesterday evening, pointing
you to the
source and wiki page, just to see that you sent these mails
to the
mailing list asking the same questions again. What are you
hoping for,
a different download page?

The source is identical on all supported platforms.

May I ask which university, and does your university have a
page
dedicated to this grand project of yours? If so, could you
provide the
URL?

Well, now you know where the download button is.

My first tip is, before asking any questions on the dev
list, try your
best to locate the download page yourself. If you still
believe our
website has flaws, please report it to devwebsite.openoffice.org
mailing list, and help them improve the website design.

My second tip is, even if you plan to develop on Windows,
learning
unix/linux commands, or Cygwin on Windows, will pay off
eventually. So,
do take some time to learn unix/linux. You won't regret
it.

Also, Rumor has it that you also asked a similarly-phrased
question on
the odf-converter-dev mailing list. I'd be very interested
to know the
details of your project, so that perhaps there is an
opportunity for
collaboration?

Ah, he asked you too? He also sent me a personal mail
directly, right
after he posted his first mail to the list.
