Hi,all
1.Create a new Calc.
2.Select any cell,input any figure such as '5',input any
punctuation such as ';',input
any chinese characters such as 'ºìÆìÖÐÎÄ'.
3.Select the cell that has letters;font name->ËÎÌ壬font
size->10.
4.clict the cell twice,it's surprised that you can't locate
the cursor between 'ºì'
and 'Æì' with the mouse,but with the keyboard you can
achieve that.
We think it's a bug.How to fix it? I need some advice.
Many thanks!

I'm not exactly sure if I got your problem right, but the
cursor inside
the cell is invisible the first time you double-click on a
non-empty
cell to activate it in edit mode. Moving the cursor with
the arrow keys
will make it visible again.

Is this the bug you're describing?

Sorry its my fault.Yes, the cursor inside the cell is
invisible the first time I
double-click on a non-empty cell to activate it in edit
mode.

Move the arrow to the end of the character sequence
'5;ºìÆìÖÐÎÄ',behind 'ÎÄ'click left
button,cursor stands there;we can also do that behind 'ÖÐ'
and behind'Æì';But

the cursor can not be located between 'ºì' and 'Æì'.
Thank you!

Hi yunjingtao,

I can reproduce similar problem.
But I have got different results.
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=80853

I could locate the cursor by mouse in a cell but could not
locate the
cursor by mouse in the box on the formula bar.

Can you try the bugdoc attached to the issue?
I hope you can view the bugdoc with chinese fonts

Thanks,
khirano

Hi, Kazunari Hirano
I have checked the attachment(47646 and 47649).In the
47649,I tried in the cell and in the box on the formular bar
but I found something different.
In the cell(C5, C6, C7,C8, C12, C13, C14, C15, C16and C17) I
can locate the cursor by mouse .But in the box on the
formular bar the cursor can not be located between the two
characters after a punctuation.

please follow these steps:
select any cell from C5, C6, C7,C8, C12, C13, C14, C15,
C16and C17,take C12 for example,font name->宋体,font
size->10,the cursor can not be located between the two
characters after a punctuation by mouse neither in the cell
nor in the box on the formular bar

My OS is XP sp2.
