I like that one. Quite in the spirit of StarCalc.

The current RCalc is fine too, but overlaps with others,
e.g. rCalc
http://rcalc.sourceforg
e.net/ a scientific calculator for the GNOME
desktop, or a resistor calculator.

Regarding iCaRuS: you wouldn't name a tool after someone who
flew too
high and burnt his wings, would you?

Hi,

This has proven a difficult task! I
definitely prefer debugging...
Sometimes.

I really like RCalc -- it was a natural way to go, but
Google's search
results made it pretty clear we'd be way too similar to the
currently
existing RCalc program.

Aside from that, "roose" is good... It sounds like
"ruse" which has the
following definition: a deceptive maneuver (especially to
avoid capture). I
like this a lot because what we're doing is making R more
accessible through
Calc while also making Calc more powerful with R... Though
the commonly
accepted definition of "ruse" has a negative
connotation to it, I don't
mind. Any thoughts?

CalcStaR also sounds fine, but I'm wondering if it would be
easy to
confusing "StarCalc" with "CalcStaR"...

Thanks,
Wojciech
