Issue 29646 : need some info to help to fix it

Oliver is speaking
about a more generic solution than the patch committed by
Michel to this
issue.
As this is an old and really problematic issue in migration
context,
could you help Michel to work on the more generic solution
you are
thinking about ? What is the special treatment you are
speaking about
for NumberFormatter service ?
And could it be possible to have the patch Michel committed
integrated
in the mean time ?
