fme->rrthomasrr: If you re-open the document, the word
count won't be
re-calculated, unless you actually modify the document. At
least that's how it
should work and how it works for me. So if you are currently
working on a
document and you suspect the word count is wrong (btw: how
do you check this?),
you can save your document, close it, make a copy of it with
a new ending *.zip,
open the archive and have a look at the file meta.xml. There
you will find the
current word count. Next you should re-open the file and go
to Tools -> Word
count and have a look at the value "Whole documents -
Words". This should not
differ from the value in meta.xml. Next you can insert one
character and
immediately delete it again. This invalidates the loaded
word count. Open Tools
-> Word count again. This way you can force a
re-calculation of the word count.
Does the re-calculated value differ from the one in the
meta.xml?
