Adding extra attributes to text, paragraph and span

Is it possible to add additional attributes to text:h,
text:p and text:span?

I've come across the UserDefinedAttributes for Cells but
haven't been 
able to find out how to add additional attributes to the
currently 
selected text (paragraph, heading, span) through a macro.
