sorry I didn't explain myself correctly: the patch problem
and sal
problem are unrelated: the patch problem symply doesn't

in order to go on I had to disable it.
The sal problem is warning related, disabling the 'warning
treated as error' sal
compiled, but the compilation stopped elsewhere anyway.
I'll give a try tonight with whathever HEAD I'll find.
(I'm working on this only on spare time :-( ).
