I'm questioning the decision ;) (but I'm very lazy for
participating IRC...)
Maybe there are some people want to use X11 version in
Panther. This is
your case. Personally I miss such kind of users. This
motivates myself
in Panther build.
Aqua version will not be possible due to many technical
reasons, but for X11,
I think there are not so many obstacles (but there are!).
AFAIK, in terms of gcc-3.3 regression, some GNU/Linux distro
and OpenBSD
people want to build with gcc-3.3. We can cooperate. Of
course, there
maybe other MacOSX Panther issues (and there are!).
Unfortunately, I found some issues that prevents Panther
build.
#i74325# and #i72922#. Hope you and/or others are interested
in it
and solve ASAP. If solved, I'll immediately switch to
Panther and
provide builds as usual.
