| Unopkg problems |

Hi all,
I'm trying to make the eclipse plugin work on macos, but I
encountered a
problem with unopkg.
Apparently running that tool needs an X11 server... really
strange,
isn't it for a CLI tool ?
This appears to make the plugin stall when deploying an
extension. Can
somebody reproduce the problem ? I'm using OOo 2.2.1 for mac
intel.
Thanks,

As the Aqua version is now starting to become stable you may
wish to
give it a shot with that version and help with some initial
testing.

I've not tried to use the eclipse plugin for OpenOffice.org
on Mac OS
X yet.

there are a number of issues recently submitted against
unopkg in
this area. Just search IssueTracker or planet for details.
The "needs display connection" problem is
partially fixed (but not
yet integrated), see
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=79821
for the
remaining problems.

Oliver

| Animated GIF speed variations between
OOo versions |

|
2007-07-22 08:54:00 |
Greetings:
I don't want to report a bug issue unless there really is
one. I found
that animated GIFS in Write run at different speeds between
Mac OOO
2.2.1, 2.3.0 x11, and 2.3.0 aqua, from galloping along in
2.2.1 to
poking along in 2.3.0 aqua. OOo 2.3.0 x11 most appropriates
the animated
GIF's speed as rendered in Quicktime movie player (still a
tiny bit
faster though). Otherwise so far so good in latest aqua
guinea pig.
