As far as I recall, there was once a consensus that any name
that
hints at Asterisk were considered to send a signal
"this is the
wannabe-asterisk project" and suggestions such as
Ampersand,
AsterFOO, StarFOO, StellarFOO etc were then categorically
ruled out.
I also recall that about a month ago or so there was a
consensus that
no new name suggestions should be accepted any further.
Then again it seems that the entire name change thing got
stuck and
it looks more and more as if nothing further will happen
there.
