Well, I'm a newbie, so please bear with me... Hopefully
in a few weeks
I'll understand what I'm doing...
Ok.
First:
So stored on Tokens there are EF (elementary files)
identified by ID, right?
Is there any standard for these key id's? Like 45 for
Windows Logon, 47 for
crypto only...
Where can I get a list?
Second:
When key generation is done, what really happens on the
cryptographic
token?
For example, Software tells the token to generate a private
key that never
leaves the token, gets the public key pair, and then
generates the
certificate that is stored under a key id?
Is this how it works?
Third:
Any books or documents that can explain this to
excruciating detail? (No
crypto for dummies... ) but on
real world technologies? (No crypto
theory).
Thanks for the help!
