Error creating MySql database

Hi.

I am trying to install HEAD svn version of OpenSer. After ‘make install217; including some modules , I tried to create the Data Base with ‘/usr/local/sbin/openserdbctl createR17;

But this is not working, that is the log:

 : command not foundser/openserctl/openserdbctl.mysql: line 33:

'usr/local/lib/openser/openserctl/openserdbctl.mysql: line 57: syntax error near unexpected token `

'usr/local/lib/openser/openserctl/openserdbctl.mysql: line 57: `prompt_pw()

/usr/local/sbin/openserdbctl: line 239: openser_create: command not found

I have read the script and I don’t see anything wrong, It is strange because I tried with former versions of OpenSer and I had no problem.

Anybody can help me?

Thanks.

Hello Gregorio,

contains the error message really
"ser/openserctl/openserdbctl.mysql: line
33:"? That is strange.

when its worked?

Cheers,

Henning

Hi.

Yes that is exactly what it says, I know that line 33 is
empty in openserdbctl.mysql but the file is unique in my
system, and in line 57 of that file there is a
"prompt_pw()" as told in the log. I find it
strange but it is what happens.

Regards.
Gregorio

Hi,

can you send me (with private mail) the unique
openserdbctl.mysql file present
on your system?

Cheers,

Henning
