Sun Download Center is a disaster

I've seen a number of comments throughout the site (announce
forum, etc) mentioning this issue, but I haven't seen any
action on getting things improved. Since OpenSolaris started
to use Sun's Download Center, it is no longer possible to
use wget or curl to retrieve iso images. For those of us who
maintain remote OpenSolaris machines, this is obviously a
disaster. These are exactly the sort of impediments that
give Solaris a black eye in the opensource community. 

How can we as a community get this addressed?
