Ipaq h5500

Dear experts,

 I have ipaq h5500 with Linux Familiar instead. After a few
days, I did'nt
use my ipaq. And now, my ipaq won't start..maybe the cell
(battery) gone
dry or it's a brick ?

I've brough it to HP Service Center in my country
(Indonesia) but they
gave up, they can't fix it. So now I'm trying to fix it.
I've follow the
instructions in http://www.handhelds.org/projects/wincerestoration.html
and read from archives at mailing-list, but until now my
ipaq is still
brick .

When I put my ipaq at cradle for 6 hours,there is no
'blink'. When I
reset, the LCD only flash. When using hyperterminal with
comm parameter :
8 bit, no parity, no flow control, 115200 baud, it's
connected the 'boot>'
prompt won't comes up.

What I have to do now? I really need your advice. Thanks a
lot.

Have a look at this page:

It's most likely that the battery has gone flat, h5xxx iPAQs
are notorious
for that problem and the handhelds.org 2.4 kernel doesn't
have perfect
power management on that device yet (there should be some
improvements
when we are able to move to 2.6, which is being developed).
Unless your
battery has stopped working you should be able to revive
it.

BTW once you have got the device powered up, if you want to
restore WinCE
