| I did this procedure quite a while ago, but unless I'm
mistaken, the Citrix servers themselves now also function as the STA machines,
meaning you can have multiples for redundancy. Point the SG at the Citrix
servers themselves and you should be fine. You can then decommission your
old dedicated STA machine.
I hope this information helps.

Recently upgraded
our farm to MPS 4.0, and by default it installed the a newer STA (ctxsta.dll) on
our data collector in c:\program file\citrix\system32. Upgraded our SG to
4.0 and pointed to the older version for the secure ticket authority. I
ran the SG diagnostics and expanded the Authority servers and it stated that an
older version of the STA server was running, upgrade to the newer version of the
STA server from the citrix mps 4.0 components CD. I have the components CD
but don't see the software to be able to do this function. I kicked off
the SG installation software again, and there is not a selection to upgrade the
STA. Anyone been through this process that can give me some
direction?
