Hi Michele,

Any word on when the E-Business Suite might be certified to
run on SLES
x86_64? SLES9 or 10, it really doesn't matter to me, I just
don't want
to have to buy extra hardware just to run the front end.

We're running it on a 64-bit UNIX (Tru64) right now and are
getting
ready to change platforms to SLES in the first half of 2007.

The 10gR2 Linux x86-64 certification is on Metalink - Ron
you probably
didn't look at the right place.
The Release Notes with information for SLES10 are available
on OTN

Hi All,

Oracle 10gR2 (x86-64) is SLES10 certified. Oracle 10gR2
(x86) on SLES10
is in progress. Other platform will follow.

Hope this will help,
Arun

Alain

we do have a split configuration for eBiz on Linux x86-64
and that's on
SLES9 at the moment, but not a native porting on Linux
x86-64.
Thanks
Michele
