GridControl 10.2 Agent staging - agent x86_64 does not show up in menu

Dear SuSE/Oracle-Admins,

I earned trouble with Gridcontrol 10.2.0.2 on SLES9 x86:

I installed a downloaded agent for x86_64 in staging area
"<OMS_HOME>/sysman/agent_download/10.2.0.2/linux_
64"
since the installation instruction of the tarball said so.
But the new
architecture is neither available for selection in the
"deploy fresh agent"
nor in the "update agent" page, Only
"Linux" and the Windozes are available.

I also tried to rename the subdirectory like described in
Metalink Note
372614.1 (Agent Download Directory Names per Platform),
which says to rename
Linux x86_64 to "x86_64" - but no result.

Did I misunderstood something? Thank you in advance for
every hint.

When I installed Grid Control last I placed the downloadable
agents in:
<OMS_HOME>/sysman/agent_download/10.2.0.2.0/..

Notice the extra ".0" in the version number.

Try to point a browser to:
<OMS_SERVER>:<OMS-port>/agent_download/10.2.0.2.
0 - here
all the available downloadable agents should be visible.
