I will write you down *all* commands and steps I did (same
linking
problem, but forms and rwbuilder is starting now):

Machine: Intel 2,4 GB with 1GB RAM, IDE.

I took a new HDD (80GB) for testing only.
Installed from the scratch openSuSE 10.2 from DVD

Language: English (US)
Swap 4GB (only for testing to get no lack of swap)
I installed all packages (sensless, but nothing will be
missed)
Primary Language: German
I man only configuration of network
The update did not work (maybe our firewall - but all other
  sites are up :-( )
Installed a default user (not oracle)

- that was from the scratch

Starting without XEN

I installed orarun.rpm with rpm -ivh
DB: 10201_database_linux32.zip 
unzip, sux - oracle
As root: ln -s /usr/bin/xdpyinfo /usr/X11R6/bin
As oracle: ./runInstaller
  - /opt/oracle/product/10.2/db1
  - Enterprise Edition 1.3
  - Group users
  - DB: orcl (only testing !)
  - "Betriebssystemgruppe": users
(OS-system-group)
I did not set any kernel parameter semopm manually
  (this shoul by done by orarun.rpm)

DB is running again fine. Listener not configurated !

DEVELOPER SUITE 10.1.2.0.2:

I unset all ORACLE-Vars and TNS_ADMIN by a shell scipt.
In /etc/sysctl.conf I added semopm=100, msgmni=2878,
  file-max=131072, semmsl=256, semmni=142
As root: sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.conf
>From openSuSE-DVD I installed packages:
  - pdksh, sysstat, openmotif
>From download I installed (rpm -Uvh)
  - openmotif21-libs-2.1.30MLI4-143.i586.rpm
Starting ./runInstaller

Systemcheck on libstdc++ is again reported as not found

At time of linking again error in ins_reports.mk:
   libso_install bld_install proxy_install runm_install
   server_install cgi_install cli_install conv_install
   qv_install
The install-logs tells:
  - /usr/lib/libXau.so.6: undefined reference to
    __strcpy_chkGLIBC_2.3.4
    __strcat_chkGLIBC_2.3.4
  - /usr/lib/libXtst.so.6:
    __fprintf_chkGLIBC_2.3.4
    __sprintf_chkGLIBC_2.3.4

But frmbld.sh and rwbuilder.sh now are starting !

Solution for starting up without FRM-91111 error on my
desktop 
(if this solves compilation errors I will try later and
report it):

Deinstall openmotif-packages from openSuSE 10.2 !
