Dear list, 

Happy holidays!



I have some blades from HP, connected with QLogic chipset controllers
on fiber to an MSA 1000 disk array. 

The RAID6 volume has 850 GB. Maximum device size available to
fdisk is 599 GB. 

OS is SLES 10 SP1, the latest drivers (and firmware) from HP are
applied.



I know that maximum size of volumes , partitions, files is about 2
TB - even 4 TB in some special cases.



Do you have any clues ?
