Excuse an idiot when it comes to programming and complex
syntax, but is
that page you suggested intended for end users who are
non-programmers?
If so, i'm afraid that the command explanations were a bit
brief. I'll
have to say i didn't understand the ./configure command at
all and it
looked at least to my untrained fingers that it contained a
character
which i don't even know how to produce on my keyboard namely
"ansi 10"
as my browser said.
Do these commands you propose require the setting up of
environment
variables?
