help needed to upgrade openoffice safely.

hello,
I am yet to get the proper place to download the latest
snapshot of
openoffice 2.03 which is supposed to be more accessible as
per the
orca wiki.
can some one give me the link to the url where I can get the
latest deb package?
or is it a similar tar.bz2 or gz file like firefox which I
can just
download and start ./writer, ./calc etc?
there were some previous instructions in some email but
firstly I
can't find them now and secondly I remember those
instructions did not
take me to the right place nor could I find out any other
alternative.
so if any one has upgraded to the latest open office beta
after
installing feisty, plese give me the exact way of doing
that.
