Hi,

i just did a fresh install of gnome-2.20.3 (from binary
packages) and I've run into an odd problem...I can't pull
down
the applications menu...all the other ones in the panel work
fine, but the applications menu refuses all attempts to be
pulled down. Where should I look to start troubleshooting
this? I'm running svn orca/at/spi/atk/gail from today, but
the same behavior existed with orca and friends from the
stock gnome-2.20.3 distro...thanks for any help...

Looking a bit further, I found this printed to the console
from where I started X:

** (gnome-panel:3287): CRITICAL **:
gmenu_tree_directory_get_contents: assertion `directory !=
