Luke,
brltty 3.9 works fine from terminal, but orca seems unable
to connect to
it.
So i tried:
python -c "import brlapi"
and got an import error: "no module named brlapi"
lthen in root of system, doing
updatedb;locate brlapi

removed ~/.orca/ and reset the settings, but still no luck.
any suggestions of what to try next?
