Hello list. I used svn update to update to the latest
revision as reported by:
svn update
As the update was at the latest version, it had nothing else
to pull via svn.
When running orca from gnome-terminal, I recieve the
following error or similar errors as I had to run the orca
command
via console and as usual text console is going to give
"cannot open display"
I updated from the prevous orca 2.23.03, not sure if I have
the numbering correct.
The error is:

Hi Eric:

> RuntimeError: could not open display

This usually means that your DISPLAY environment variable is
not set,
you're process does not have permissions to access the X
Server pointed
to by the DISPLAY environment variable, or the X Server
isn't running.
