Hello Will and all.
I know that I will get the error opening display via text
console, but I do not have any speech during my trying to
run
orca. Other than the below error, I am not sure how to get
text of the errors that come up within gnome-terminal when I
try and run orca.
My parcially sighted room mate said that the errors within
gnome-terminal are quite similar, so here goes:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in
<module>
File
"/usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/orca/orca.py&qu
ot;, line 59, in <module>

s.py", line 35, in <module>

_init()
File

RuntimeError: could not open display
Any help is appreciate including how I might capture the
errors inside of gnome-terminal incase these errors are
different than inside of a console.
