Save dialog in OOffice Writer

Hi,
I just noticed something odd in OO Writer. Could someone
sighted please
check, if the problem exists without orca running? In this
case, I'll file a bug
against OO Writer.


In the Save dialgo of writer, try pressing tab to move
forward out of
the name field. In my case, nothing happens. Pressing
shift+tab, on the
other hand, does work and gets me to the save button.
Pressing shift+tab
several more times even brings me back to the name field.
Thus, it is possible to tab into the name field (from both
directions)
but tabbing out of it is only possible in backwards
direction.

As this is quite confusing, I'd like to file a bug against
OO, but we
should make sure the problem is not orca-related first.

I can confirm this without Orca running, but it only happens
if I use my
distro's Save As dialog (as opposed to the official
OpenOffice.org
dialogs).  You can configure this in the Options dialog in
Writer (or
any component of OOo).  Choose General (Under
OpenOffice.org), then you
can check the "Use OpenOffice.org dialogs"
checkbox.

So.... It's not an Orca bug and it's not OOo bug.  Question
is, is it a
bug?  <smile> Personally, I've never liked the
"you can sometimes Tab
out of this entry and you sometimes can't" behavior. 
It is, as you
suggested, confusing.  However, it crops up elsewhere
(perhaps it's a
Gtk+ "bug"?).  When it does crop up, my experience
is that you can
always move to the next field by pressing Control+Tab.

Another place where I run into this a lot is File Roller,
the archive
manager.  Thanks Joanie, for the ctrl-Tab trick.  I also
wondered wat
was meant by using OO dialogs instead.  I figured one would
want to
use standard dialogs wherever.
