A developer of innovative warehouse and supply chain
management
software is seeking an exceptional PHP Software Engineer.
You will build, enhance and improve new and existing
software tools for
the client web-based software network.
Responsibilities and Duties:
o. Work in development team to interpret business
requirements and
translate those requirements into technical designs meeting
customer
specifications.
o. Design and develop software solutions using PHP,
JavaScript, AJAX
and SQL.
o. Respond to customer product improvement requests.
o. Contribute to overall systemic and process improvements
o. Conducts design/code reviews.
o. Optimize/performance tune queries
o. Conduct periodic SQL code reviews with the development
team.
o. Create technical system design documents.
o. Identify and pro actively address problems and potential
risks and
implement timely solutions.
Requirements:
o. 2+ years experience developing web-based database
application
experience, including PHP scripting and XML Structures
(Required)
o. Experience with session handling and cookies (Required)
o. Experience with JavaScript, Oracle/MySQL PL*SQL and HTML
(Required)
o. Experience with Linux/Unix (Required)
o. Experience developing solutions in a rapid prototyping
manner
(Required)
o. BS degree in Computer Science or related field
