Sr. Programmer Analyst
The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible for developing,
enhancing,
debugging, supporting, maintaining and testing financial
software
applications that involve diverse development platforms,
software,
hardware, technologies and tools. Participate in the design,
development and implementation of complex applications.
Provide
technical direction and system architecture for individual
initiatives,
perform data processing functions for the execution of
complex
financial programs and assist in the delegation and
mentoring within
the IT Department. Prepare comprehensive specification
documents
detailing the process for creating, auditing and fulfilling
data
requirements. Serve as a point person for specific technical
expertise,
use skills to perform research and analysis, recommend
solutions, and
drive decisions. Develop test scripts based upon business
requirements
and processes, in line with defined workflows and cases.
Assist in
designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing
strategy, work
with appropriate business and technology leads to determine
the
acceptable range for test results and performance, and help
design,
develop and implement test plans, scripts and tools using
the detailed
business requirements provided by the business analysts.
Specifications / Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree + 5
years of
experience) in Computer Science, Engineering or Information
System
Management
- 2 years of related experience, 2 years of experience as an
IT
Consultant (Programmer/Analyst) or Software Engineer, in the
financial
services industry.
- Technical skills required include HTML, ASP, ASP.net, SQL,
UNIX, and
understanding of web servers.
