Senior Software Assurance Engineer
Job Description As a Senior Software Assurance Engineer, you
will
provide support as the Lead to the Software Quality
Assurance Group .
Provide proactive leadership, planning, and management
capabilities for
assessment teams.
May perform software quality assurance product and process
evaluations,
risk assessments, recommendations, and insight/oversight
monitoring of
developers' and contractors' developing software.
Provide timely analysis, recommendations and reports on the
status of
the software development tasks to the project and line
management.
Requirements Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics
or similar discipline with 6+ years work experience, or
MA/MS degree in
similar discipline with 8+ years work experience, or BA/BS
degree in
similar discipline with 10+ years work experience.
Extensive experience in software development that includes
requirements
analysis, design, coding, with integration and test
experience. A
strong knowledge of modern software engineering and software
assurance
techniques. Significant experience in performing software
requirements,
software design analysis, test plan/procedures review,
software
inheritance review, requirements traceability verification,
fault
protection requirements analysis, risk assessments and
recommendations
for improvements.
