SQA Engineer
Responsibilities:
* This ?SQA Engineer? will support our product development
efforts
through testing English and localized versions of our
software. * Key
expectations also include creating, updating and executing
of
functional test plans; troubleshooting, reporting and
validating
software defect reports; configuring and managing test
machines;
implementing, updating, and executing reusable, automated
regression
tests.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of overall software quality assurance experience
testing
Windows-based client / server and desktop products in a
?time-to-market? driven software development environment.
* Experience detailing test plans and test cases, executing
manual and
automated tests, and consolidating test results. Possesses
solid
organization skills.
* Strong understanding of Windows server and desktop
operating systems:
Windows 2003, XP and 2000. Comfortable installing,
customizing and
networking Windows based operating systems.
* 1+ years experience testing applications which integrate
with
corporate email packages (Microsoft Exchange and / or Lotus
Notes).
* 1+ years of database testing experience (Microsoft SQL
Server and /
or Oracle).
* Experience testing localized versions of Windows based
application
software is a plus.
* Experience testing scanning, printing and / or imaging
applications
is a plus.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
* High energy self-starter; able to quickly grasp technical
concepts.
Solid work ethic and outstanding team player.
* B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical
discipline.
