Delaware

The Proj Mgr
should have experience managing large Firewall/Network Security projects.
Preferably, a project that was International in scope, as this project is global
in scope, and will require International interfacing with other offices, as well
as the ability to (maybe) occasionally travel internationally.This would have to include relocation and living
expenses to work in Delaware. Wilmington is close to Philadelphia. 11 month

Regional Project Manager for one of its clients, a
prestigious Information Security technology and services company. This client is looking to build an
information security deployment team to support a multi-million dollar, global
network security project for one of their global customers in the financial
services sector.
The Regional
Project Manager, reporting to the Program Manager for the project, will be
located in Wilmington, Delaware.
This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating all
regional engineering and implementation elements of the project. .
Required Skills
and Experience:
1. 5+ years of project management
experience, preferably within the technology infrastructure or network security
arenas.
2. ;
Bachelor’s degree in related field or an additional 2 years of relevant
work experience.
3. Proven track record in managing and
successfully completing multiple complex and intensive projects from inception
to completion.
4. ;
Possess the ability to develop and create a detailed project plan and
specifications based on input from customer.
5. Manage project tasks concurrently
and supply regular status to management.
6. ;
Possess ability to manage complex projects against aggressive timelines
and milestones.
7. ;
Experience with regional project planning, including maintaining a cross
functional and regionally based project plan and managing against budget and
resources.
8. Able to manage human
resources.
9. Manage
timelines.
10. Manage team and customer expectations,
and communicate status in a professional and timely
manner.

project team members.

Duration: 11 months,
Rate : $65/hr to $70/hr

Large engagement requiring several
consultants. Will have teams also in London
and Tokyo, but our focus is on the Delaware positions.
Key is to find Consultants with Cyberguard experience.
Firewall
Engineers for one of its clients, a prestigious Information Security
technology and services company.
This client is looking to build an information security deployment team
to support a multi-million dollar, global network security project for one of
their global customers in the financial services sector.
The Firewall
Engineers will be located in Wilmington, Delaware. These individuals will be part of a
regional project team that is supporting the global initiative, and will be
responsible for auditing/evaluating the current environment, documenting gaps
and issues, and remediating a large firewall rule base. This is a very exciting
contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 11
months.
Required Skills
and Experience:
1. 5+ years of relevant network
security experience on very large, global networks
2. ;
Bachelor’s degree or additional 2 years of relevant work
experience.
3. ;
Expertise in Cyber Guard firewall products (Cyberguard 5.1.1) or
Checkpoint firewall technology (NGX); architecture and
deployments.
4. ;
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, IPsec, complex routing including OSPF,
BGP and the potential interoperation thereof.
5. layer 2 technologies such as IPSec
VPNs, peer to peer connections.
6. layer 1 technologies such as
dedicated circuits, pipes, provisioning.
7. ;
Ethernet, Spanning-Tree and RSTP; fire walling and stateful
inspection.
8. packet capture and analysis.

modeling.
10. A technical understanding of multi-tier
application architectures and performance issues.
11. Strong ability to aggregate all mentioned
skills to analysis and critique complex network infrastructures.
12. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret
FW log files, SMTP, and SYSLOG files.
13. Ability to respond to common inquiries or
complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community.
14. Ability to create network diagrams and
technical documentation.
15. Ability to effectively present
information to top management.
16. Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
17. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables.
18. CCSA, CCSE, CISSP certification strongly
preferred.
