Position: Delphi Developer

Location: Houston TX

Duration: 6-12 months

Hourly Rates: $50/hr.

 

Project Description:

As a Delphi application developer you will work with a team on enhancing their energy trading / risk management system.  Large-scale system running on 30+ Windows-based servers.

 

Platform: Unix/Windows with Oracle Database

 

Required Skills:

•      ;  4+ years of professional programming experience using Delphi.

•      ;  2+ years experience with Microsoft .NET Framework.

•      ;  Understanding and experience with the implementation of multi-tiered architectures.

•      ;  A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematical or financial sciences

•      ;  Excellent communication skills with  ability to communicate with non-technical users.

•      ;  Ability to work in a  team environment.

•      ;  Superior problem solving skills.

•      ;  Working knowledge of UML.

•      ;  Experience with communications and real-time data acquisition desired

•      ;  The successful candidate will have relevant experience on large enterprise  ;   applications servers with several hundred plus users.

 

Domain Expertise:

Experience with trading or risk systems is desired.
