SUMMARY 

The Web Developer develops and implements user interfaces for public websites and e-business applications with emphasis on HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and graphic production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to hand code in HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to hand code HTML elements including nested tables, frames, meta tags, and hooks to embedded media or scripts.
• Ability to slice Photoshop files and assemble them into a HTML pages.
• Good oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients and project team members.
• Ability to learn new technologies related to the Web.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and develop recommendations. Ability to work with internal and external clients to develop requirements and develop recommendations that will result in solutions for the client.  
• Willing to work at the client site.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years relevant previous experience in web development is required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Design Arts or related field is a plus but not required.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Professional competence with core development languages and tools related to the World Wide Web, such as Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), DHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Homesite, and Familiarity with the latest versions of the MS Office suite and MS Outlook.
