User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager

Client: EDS

Location: Issaquah, WA

Rate: $48/hr

Duration: 6 months

UAT Manager w/ 4-6 yrs exp leading user & dev teams in User Acceptance Testing. Required: Able to plan & manage application release quality & deployment for business & user groups; exp to plan, schedule, coordinate UAT activities & develop/publish UAT deliverables; Able to participate in & develop release quality plans in SDLC design phase; Able to solicit, motivate & lead UAT stakeholders involved in UAT planning, test development, execution & resolution; Exp developing deliverables & presentations covering UAT planning, UAT scripts & execution, UAT results, management presentations; Exp or knowledge in business process design (Six-Sigma preferred) to focus user & IT groups in planning & executing UAT for support of a business process; Strong, assertive, tactful ability to manage business stakeholders/users, set expectations & provide leadership while respecting users; Excellent verbal & written communication skills; Exp in MS testing tools (e.g. Product Studio, etc). Past work experience at Microsoft in similar role highly preferred.

 

Java Architect
Client: EDS

Rate: $58/hr

Duration: 3 months

Specializes as a Java architect. Software developer experience Overall system design and delivery experience.  Excellent communication skills

A plus: Experience in the IT healthcare industry Technical leadership experience. Work to be performed onsite in Northern California

 

Oracle Database Administrator 5+ Yrs
Client: EDS

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Rate: $45/hr
This position is for a Sr. Database Administrator with experience in ORACLE 10g. Unix shell scripting and PL SQL experience needed. This position is for development and support of database systems. Must have experience with RAC. Good communication and customer skills required, with an ability to quickly grasp new concepts.

 

Technical Business Analyst

Client: EDS

Location: Issaquah, WA

Rate: $40/hr

Duration: 6 months

3-5 yrs exp as technical BA. Required: exp performing Requirement Analysis (Understand business requirements); exp performing analysis, design and writing Functional specification documents; able to coordinate with Business, Developers and Testers. Must have exp with in all required technical Skills: Web services, http/https, Internet and intranet security and privacy; Data mapping, Data Cleansing; Different integration methods like ETL/Batch, Messaging (e.g. Biztalk); SQL queries to analyze data, SQL data types; SDLC process, preferably Microsoft SDLC; High-level knowledge of ERP systems is a plus. (e.g, SAP, Oracle Financials, Peoplesoft). Highly prefer past work exp at Microsoft in similar role

 

TESTING SPECIALIST 3-5 Yrs

Rate: $35/hr

Duration: 6 months

Additional Information:
The successful candidate will have expertise with Mercury217;s WIN Runner and LOAD Runner. The candidate will have experience testing against both web pages and console application. Must be able to build / create teat plans. Candidate must have prior testing experience in some of the following languages/environments: Java, COBOL, Visual Basic, Oracle, and/or SQL server. Candidate must have experience running test tools in a Linux environment, Windows server and MVS are a plus. Candidate should also have experience with other popular test tools such as J Unit. The successful candidate should have experience maintaining test Data Base Repositories, Defect reporting, Development Test Automation Framework, and Regression testing.

Candidate must be a good team player and have excellent communication skills.

 

SSIS TESTING SPECIALIST 3-5 Yrs
Client: EDS

Location: Issaquah, WA

Rate: $35/hr

Duration: 6 months

Tester exp. Required: Excellent oral & written communication skills; Proven record & demonstration of handling complex test projects; Very strong SQL server skills; Very familiar with SQL Server internals; Very familiar with SSIS; 1+ yrs exp having tested Data Warehousing projects; Good analytical & time management skills; Exp with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus

 

Responsibilities:
* Reviewing functional specifications and design requirements and contributing feedback that helps shape the features of our product.
* Writing complete test plans for whole feature sets, covering all aspects of testing such as functional, negative, stress, globalization, localization, and security testing, as well as end-to-end test scenarios that span across multiple appications
* Designing and implementing new test framework components as well as enhancing existing ones.
* Efficiently implementing large numbers of test cases.
* Write defect reports and verify fixed defects
* Researching, adopting, and enhancing existing tools, and creating new ones, to help the test team enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.
* Creating and driving exit criteria for all milestones.
