Sr. SAP Systems Analyst

Start Date: ; 07/02/2007 Or as soon as possible

End Date: ; 10/26/2007

Short Description:  Must have extensive SAP technical experience and leadership skills in order to be a key contributor to the project.

 

Complete Description:  This position will report directly to our clientR17;s IT SAP Systems Analysts. The responsibilities include:

- Effectively leverage and support architectures, tools, and processes to facilitate solution development in SAP

- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs

- Perform own custom development in ECC 5.0 and BW 3.5

- Supervise and mentor other developers

- Setup test environment and test data

- Develop and execute unit test plans and scripts

- Execute system test scripts

- Resolve defects and support implementations

 

The analyst must possess current hands-on development experience within ECC 5.0 and BW 3.5 environments. The analyst will also have contributed throughout several full SAP implementation life cycles.  Familiarity with a structured system development methodology preferred. Experience in the beverage industry also preferred.

 

A senior level person is the most experienced, with the widest range of experience in various size and types of projects that are relevant to the role. Typically 6 to 10 or more years in the role would be expected.  Must be able to communicate and work effectively with a diverse groups of individuals (Functional to Technical) in a fast pace environment.  Must be able to coach other developers and advise team members. Must also be self-motivated and self-directed.  Specific skills requested as follows:

Sr. SAP Configurator

Short Description:  Must have extensive experience with SAP SD/MM and experience with LE and FI in order to be a key contributor to the project.

 

Complete Description:  This position will report directly to our clientR17;s IT SAP Systems Analysts. The responsibilities include:

1) Translate business requirements into existing or new functional and technical designs.

2) Translate designs into SAP configuration within the sales & distribution, logistics execution and financial modules; document configuration requirements and steps to complete.

3) Develop and execute unit test plans and scripts

4) Execute system test scripts

5) Draft cutover plan and data conversions.

6) Implement cutover plans

7) Update/Create Regression test plan for future releases

8) Create training material (RWD online help tool)

 

The configurator must possess current hands-on experience within ECC 5.0. Experience with BW 3.5 a plus. The configurator will also have contributed throughout several full SAP implementation life cycles.  Familiarity with a structured system development methodology preferred. Experience in the beverage industry also preferred.
