REQ:Sr. J2EE Developer / Architect ~ upto $100/hour - N of CHICAGO

 

Hi Partner,

 

 

Title:   Sr. J2EE Developer/Architect -- must have VITRIA (part of SOA integration package)

Location:  ; Arlington Heights, IL -- (northern CHICAGO) 

Rate:  UPTO $100/hour -- for a senior guy!!

Length:  6+ months

KEY EXPERIENCE:

 

This position will be responsible for setting designing and developing in a J2EE environment for projects related to the SOA initiative. Taking direction from the lead architect, this person will be involved in the following areas:

 

 

Design:

·         Designs solutions for a J2EE environment

 

Development:

·         Develops J2EE solutions including:

o        EJB 2.0 or 3.0

o        JSF

o        Web services

o        Servlets

·         Develops in RAD/Eclipse

·         Maintains naming and coding standards as set forth by the architecture team.

 

Testing:

·         Writes and conducts unit tests with JUnit and WSUnit

·         Maintains regression tests

 

Documentation:

·         Writes in-line documentation as required

·         Maintains version control and documents changes made to various product builds

 

 

No travel necessary

  

Skill sets:

·         5-8 years of Java experience, 3-4 years of J2EE experience

·         Can work independently or as a part of a larger group

·         Strong analysis skills

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with shifting priorities

·         Required skill sets include:

o        J2EE

o        UML

o        OOD

o        Oracle – knows SQL

o        XML/Soap/Web services

o        RAD and/or WSAD 5.1

o        UNIX skills – Solaris specifically

o        ANT

·         These skill sets are a plus:

o        Vitria

o        JRules

o        SOA

o        MDA

o        JMS
