Position : Storage Administrator

Location : Fort Washington, PA

Duration : 6 month

Hourly rate :$45/hr

 

My client is looking for 4 years of experience so it is more of a mid level consultant.

 

Job Description:

 

Under general direction, manages the installation, and support of infrastructure computing systems, including Unix (specifically Solaris 10 and Linux) and knowledge of Storage Systems. The storage systems are 90% EMC and 10% HDS.  Primary storage arrays are DMX – 3 devices.  Is viewed as a technical expert in operations, storage media, design and engineering. Responsible for evaluating current systems and future requirements through coordination with technical and non-technical staff. Works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Plans large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Provides work leadership and training to lower level network engineers. Requires expert knowledge of systems, networks, and applications. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience.
