In-person interview is required after phone screening.

Position duties:
This is short term assignment to automate XML data loading to MySQL, with automatic reporting capabilities.  Initial work entails converting an existing Visual Basic script to Perl to load XML data to a MySQL database on Linux.  Project work includes creating scripts for automatic and as-needed reporting, and creating the links to other data sources.  The candidate must have experience creating enterprise applications that are low maintenance.  Candidate should have the ability to clearly document both their code and business procedures.  Candidate will have a proven track record of meeting milestones and agressive deadlines.  The candidate will be working closely with the existing project team.  

Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least 5 years experience as an application programmer creating secure code; a focus on database-related and data-driven applications a plus. Experience in developing and supporting global software installations, and developing and documenting standard operating policies and procedures.  Experience with programming database manipulation commands.  Understanding of risk assessment, change control and enterprise patch management a plus.  Understanding of security awareness programs and HTML documentation a plus.

Good communication and documentation skills
