Consultant DBA - Database Innovation Engineering

Working as part of a large Database Administration Organization, the successful candidate will join the Innovation Engineering team, focusing on engineering solutions and standards to support a large Oracle Database environment, encompassing over 400 servers and 2000 databases.
This extremely challenging role would be best suited to a highly motivated technical DBA with an aptitude for simplification / automation & consolidation.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 6 years of experience working as DBA,  administering Oracle 8i/ 9i and 10G environments.

KEY SKILLS
Advanced Database Administration skills within a complex Unix environment.
Proficient in monitoring and diagnosing server performance issues.
UNIX shell script maintenance and programming.
In-Depth knowledge of monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of databases.
Exceptionally strong communications skills. (Both written and verbal) 
Excellent analytical & planning skills.
Self-starter and detail oriented.

Supporting change management and document control. 
Writing and debugging SQL, PL/SQL. 
Administration of Oracle on Windows
Physical Modeling.
Developing system specifications and requirements. 
Documenting system administration procedures.
